The rules change regularly — Budget 2026 raised both EP and S Pass minimum qualifying salaries for new applications from 1 January 2027 (and renewals from 1 January 2028) — but the framework remains transparent.

Because foreigners can own 100% of a Singapore company with no local partner, you control both the sponsoring entity and the pass application. S Pass

For mid-skilled workers with a diploma or technical certificate. Subject to employer quota (10–20%) and a monthly levy. Any ACRA-registered Singapore company — including one a foreigner owns 100% — can be the sponsor.

Dependant's Pass & LTVP

Sponsor earns S$6,000+/month

For spouses and unmarried children under 21 of EP or S Pass holders earning S$6,000+. Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) covers parents, common-law spouses, and stepchildren.
